

On their own, they released ‘Keep No Score’ album in 2006 and ‘Storyboards’ in 2009. Their ‘Ghosts’ album was successful and the band toured the nation. In 2003, they released the album ‘Ghosts’ but later chose to go independent again. He gave them the help they needed to get signed to Interscope Records. It was this album that caught the attention of Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins frontman. In 2000, Sleeping at Last recorded their debut album, ‘Capture’. However, Chad O’ Neal and Dan Perdue left the group to pursue other interests and Ryan O’ Neal stayed and adopted the group name. The group played different styles including emo, dream pop, alternative pop/ rock and alternative/ Indie rock. Popular Sleeping at Last songs include ‘Say’, ‘Turning Pages,’ ‘and ‘Slow and Steady.’ They started out playing in local gigs and earned themselves a decent following before they got the support they needed to go national. It was started with Ryan as the lead singer and guitarist, Dan as the bassist and Chad as the drummer.
